Last 26 April 2018, at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City, the IBP Makati Chapter conducted a forum entitled "Reaffirming Judicial Integrity and Independence."

Speaking at the forum in front of a packed room was no less than Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen, who gave deep insight into the issue of the independence of the Judiciary Branch, in light of recent developments in the country. 

The forum was well-attended, with chapter members from the various member firms listening and participating in the discussion, and taking advantage of the opportunity to learn from the esteemed Justice.
