Last 26 April 2018, at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City, the IBP Makati Chapter conducted a forum entitled "Reaffirming Judicial Integrity and Independence." Speaking at the forum in front of a packed room was no less than Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen, who gave deep insight into the issue of the independence of the Judiciary Branch, in light of recent developments in the country. The IBP Makati Legal Aid Committee will be releasing the Guidelines for Compliance with the Community Legal Aid Service for New Lawyers soon.
