The Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati Chapter held its 25th Anniversary Fun Run dubbed as Race for the Gavel last April 24, 2016 (Sunday) at West McKinley, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. The run was intended to raise funds to support the various community focused, social responsibility programs of the chapter.

 

The program commenced with an invocation led by Kuya Kim Atienza. The president of the IBP-Makati, Atty. Gil Roberto Zerrudo delivered his welcome address and hit the gavel as the gun start of the run. About 400 runners participated in the activity including some well-known personalities such as Dingdong Dantes, Atty. Gilbert Remulla, Bubbles Paraiso and many others. The following emerged as winners: 10K Category, 1st Place:  Richard Salanio, 2nd Place: Joackim Kemboi, 3rd Place: Mark Anthony Oximar; 5K Category, 1st Place: Nico Cortez, 2nd Place: Evelou Aburas, 3rd Place: Jujit De Asis; 3k Category, 1st Place: Philip John Gorgob, 2nd Place: James Darril Ourduaian, 3rd Place: Danny Morales; and Special Awardees, Kristina Isabella Dee and Joaquin Gabriel Dee.
